With over 90% of international trade being carried by ship, a clear understanding of the shipping industry is essential for the sustained success. In the present day economic, political, demographic and technological trends, it is the right time to find insights in to the various facets of shipping industry such as shipbuilding, operation issues, cost effectiveness, cargo handling, terminal operation, human resource management, maritime law, emerging challenges in navigation for the sustainable shipping. 
In this context, AMET is organizing the International Conference on IMO theme of 2016 “Shipping: Indispensable to the World”.
The Conference is aimed to bring the experienced mariners, researchers, academicians, industry professionals and serving sea farers under one roof to discuss on the most recent happenings in the global maritime industry.
